| Escola de Olaria is an initiative
which was born in 2008 under the support of the local administration
of the Boa Vista island in order to support and develop the local
craftsmanship. The municipality, week by week, offers the craftsmen
of the island the laboratory of Escola de Olaria for the manufacturing
of terra-cotta. Thanks to this initiative they could make use of the
oven and all the equipment useful for the creation of the hand-crafted
products.
We would love to support this development by purchasing the terra-cotta manufactured products of Boa Vista. A little expense could represent an important let-out of poverty and the possibility to give an impulse in the development of this secular art. Let’s create a responsible tourism in order to bring benefits to the population who host us in this wonderful place.

This is another project oriented to
a responsible and sustainable tourism, with all respect for the local
workers and their lives. Let’s support their work by purchasing
the products and sell them in our boutiques in order to increase the
value of territory.
